Are you a passionate, self-motivated social media and community manager looking for a role in a game-changing regenerative business? Are you a skilled communicator and relationship builder? Do you have experience in creating authentic connections and conversations between brands and their communities? Do you live near enough to spend time in our London office each week? Yes? We want to hear from you!
What we’re building
We’re pioneering a new business model that allows us to invest in decarbonisation through the proceeds of our business – we’re planning to invest 10% of our revenue in doing this. This sounds lofty and exciting but very practically we’re building:
- An online store that presents a tight curation of brands and products that are good for people and good for the planet. We will help people overcome the challenge of finding and assessing new brands.
- A journal where we present a planet-positive lifestyle in a way that is aspirational and accessible.
- A community or collective of brands and people all working together to usher in a new way of living where brands can decouple their growth from their resource use – a step to becoming regenerative businesses.
- A foundation that will help accelerate brands on their path to becoming regenerative.
Our audience is design-savvy, style-first and heavily influenced by aesthetics and culture – and simultaneously committed to living a planet-positive life. The community we build – through social and IRL – will play a critical role in supporting them in making real change across all areas of their lives, without it feeling like they are having to sacrifice style, fun and adventure.
We have a huge ambition to build a global business that will help millions to live a lower-impact lifestyle.
We know there’s a tension in our business model – we’re launching a shop and consumption is what we need less of… but we believe a more conscious model can be one of the many contributing solutions that are needed in addressing the climate crisis. We are realistic in that we appreciate people will not stop shopping, but we can help people shop in a better, more conscious way.
You’ll be responsible for
- Shaping and owning our social media and community communications strategy to position the BRiMM community at the heart of the conversation about what a planet-positive life could/should/will look like
- Creating an authentic presence in social channels by:
- developing engaging and brand-appropriate content for channels including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Substack
- growing our follower base
- reacting to follower comments and social moments and ensuring a strong brand voice

- sparking conversations and engagement on social channels
- identifying topics of interest to stimulate conversation and shape future content creation
- designing and delivering events
- engaging community members in research and product prioritisation
- Monitoring performance and reporting on engagement, reach and other key metrics using in-app analytics tools alongside the likes of Google Analytics, Buffer, Hootsuite or Sprout Social
- Building a B2B community based on our vision of an alliance of purposeful brands with a shared goal of decoupling growth from resource use
- Working with the founding team to shape how the community evolves as we grow
- Building relationships and managing collaborations with creators and influencers
You’re a good fit if you are:
- a skilled communicator and relationship builder
- well-versed in the issues facing consumers and brands in reducing their climate impact
- comfortable managing sometimes ‘lively’ conversations in social channels
- experienced in creating high-quality social-native content
- experienced in organising community events with great vibes
- experienced in running paid social campaigns
- a kind, collaborative team player who cares deeply about our planet
- comfortable with uncertainty and taking initiative in a fast-moving environment
If you love the sound of this role but don’t tick all the boxes, please get in touch anyway. Being able to meet in person in London each week is non-negotiable, but other parts of the role may have some flex.
We’re looking for a long-term team member as but we’re open to starting on a freelance basis as well.
